About this painting

"Erosion of Oxides" is a visual exploration of the unstoppable force of time and the continuous transformation of natural matter. Through an elaborate, highly condensed stippling technique, deep earth tones consisting of intense oxide red, rich black, and earthy umber interweave to form an organic, almost pulsating structure. This rough, tactile surface is reminiscent of weathered rock or centuries-old layers of earth. From this dark, archaic foundation, subtly glowing silver emerges, like a precious mineral vein slowly brought to light by the ongoing process of erosion. The dense, closely set layers of paint create a fascinating relief that unites the raw endurance of the earth and the silent poetry of decay within a powerful, vertical composition.
