About this series

The "Fokus" series is an ongoing collection of compact original paintings in a uniform 20 × 20 × 3.5 cm format. With their extra deep edges, these canvases act almost like small three-dimensional sculptures on the wall.

The title says it all: each painting focuses on an intimate fragment of color, light, and raw texture. Instead of large scale canvases, this series zeroes in on the rich details of physical material. Layered impasto strokes and organic surface structures guarantee that every piece remains a completely non-reproducible original.

Created as an accessible way to bring genuine art into everyday spaces, each piece comes signed, titled, and accompanied by a personal Certificate of Authenticity. They work just as well as an individual statement on a small shelf or wall section as they do grouped together in a gallery grid.
